Bavaria CellGuard L 6-Liter Battery Fire Extinguisher (21A)

Specifically developed for Li-ion battery fires The Bavaria CellGuard L 6 is a new-generation 6-liter special fire extinguisher designed to tackle modern risks—particularly those posed by lithium-ion batteries. As electric devices, e-bikes, power tools, and energy storage systems become more common, traditional extinguishing agents no longer provide adequate protection. This device offers an efficient, state-of-the-art solution to these hazards.

Innovative FFX® Lion extinguishing agent The unit contains FFX® Lion fluorine-free extinguishing agent, which features extremely fast cooling, excellent wetting and penetration capabilities, and effectively halts thermal runaway. The agent is PFAS-free, silicone-free, biodegradable, and environmentally friendly. Its special surfactant components allow it to penetrate deep into the burning material, not only extinguishing the fire but also cooling it down to reduce the risk of re-ignition.

Extinguishing Performance The device is capable of extinguishing lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of approximately 400–500 Wh. Additionally, it holds a 21A rating, making it highly effective against fires involving solid materials such as wood, paper, and plastics. This allows it to serve as both a specialized and a general fire safety tool, even in larger areas.

Safety and Environmental Protection The extinguishing agent is classified as non-hazardous, non-flammable, and contains no fluorinated compounds. It ensures minimal environmental impact during use. It is REACH compliant and meets modern environmental expectations, making it an ideal choice for locations where sustainability and safety are paramount.
