Adapter for installing a spindle-operated wall fire hydrant on an older water network

This adapter allows a modern spindle-operated wall fire hydrant to be connected to an older water supply network with tapered-thread connections. One end connects to the existing water pipe, and the spindle-operated fire hydrant is fitted to the other end.

During refurbishment, the existing pipe network can be retained while the old hydrant is replaced with a modern, precision-made spindle-operated model.
