What is the difference between CO2 and CO measurement?

A CO sensor detects the amount of deadly carbon monoxide in the air and indicates that combustion is incomplete. Carbon monoxide can be fatal in high concentrations. The CO2 sensor measures the amount of carbon dioxide in the air and indicates when ventilation is required. Carbon dioxide is present in our atmosphere and is less harmful than carbon monoxide (CO). High carbon dioxide concentration causes headaches, fatigue, drowsiness and concentration problems. This CO2 alarm does not detect carbon monoxide! The air quality alarm has a modern design LCD display with LED indicator. If the indoor humidity, temperature or CO2 level is normal, the display color will be green, but if the alarm detects higher PPM in the air, the color will change to yellow (poor air quality) or red (poor air quality). As soon as the color changes, you will also be notified by an audio broadcast, warning that ventilation is required. The audio broadcast is available in no less than 6 languages and can be easily set to your preferred language. In addition, the alarm also has an ambient light sensor function, which means that the brightness of the alarm will automatically decrease to reduce the user's sleep. Therefore, the air quality alarm can also be placed in your bedroom.

Easy to install

The air quality alarm is easy to install. You can mount it on the wall or simply place it in a room that is currently occupied. The alarm calibrates automatically, just plug in the 12V adapter and within 3 minutes the alarm will show the current CO2, temperature and humidity levels. It is even equipped with a backup battery, so the alarm works even in the event of a power failure. It works for up to 12 hours without the adapter before the battery needs to be recharged. The touch screen makes it easy to use. You can easily set the display to one view or switch between CO2, humidity and temperature levels.
