82. § (1) The storage capacity of the water storage cannot be less than 30 m3, and its lower level can be no more than 7 meters deeper than the ground level.
(2) The extraction location of the water storage must be designed in such a way that it can be accessed by a fire engine.
(3) The distance between the water storage and the building or open space to be protected must not exceed the 200 meters. The distance must be measured along the approach route.
(4) Extinguishing water may be taken into account
a) water from the cooling tower water pool or other technological water - due to its use for fire fighting - which does not cause danger in the technological equipment or
b) also the amount of water provided for fire-fighting purposes in the water storage of the municipality's public utility waterworks, if there is a suitable water extraction facility for the connection of the vehicles of the fire department.

(5) 100 can be taken into account for fire-fighting purposes An independent water storage tank of less than m3 must be provided with at least one, and those larger than this with a suction pipe for every 100 m3 of volume.

(6) The suction pipe its inner diameter must be at least NA 100, its lower end must be equipped with a filter, and its upper horizontal end must be equipped with a standard A (NA 100) stub terminal and a cap terminal. The suction joint connection point must be created horizontally, at a height of 0.8-1.2 meters from the ground level.
(7) * The connection joints of the suction pipelines at a distance of at least 5 meters from each other must be placed.
(8) The place for obtaining water must be built in such a way that it can be accessed by a fire engine at all times and that the extinguishing water - regardless of the water level - can always be removed without hindrance.
