FIELD OF APPLICATION: Maintaining the water column on the suction hoses of water suction pumps and filtering out larger impurities.
The foot valve filter is connected to the fire extinguisher suction hose (MSZ 1057) with a stub clamp.

Details

MATERIAL, DESIGN: The filter basket is a 0.8mm thick perforated unalloyed steel sheet, with flat steel reinforcement, corrosion-free.
STRUCTURE, OPERATION: The stub clamp is secured against rotation and can be connected with DIN standard clamps.
A, B, C type foot valve filters are structurally and functionally identical, the A filter also contains a relief valve.
The relief valve in the pump and which allows the water in the suction hose to flow out, can be operated with a suction hose rope (MSZ 9945/2). The internal diameter of the suction pipe must be at least NA 100, its lower end must be equipped with a filter, and its upper horizontal end must be equipped with a standard A (NA 100) stub clamp and a cap clamp.
